My heart about life, ministry, and beyond...

I will be posting some cognitive insights about the world which goes on in my mind. Blogging is such an interesting and modern contraption to communicate with the world. Love it! Please come back as I update regularly...

About Me

Hello, my name is Cesar Nieto.  I am the Senior Leader of Church on the Rock Harrisonville.  I love this church.  I follow the succession of 3 amazing pastors of this church – Jim Reimer, Fred Kropp, and Lawrence Wilson to make a very awesome legacy in the house of God.  This church as started the year I was born, in 1975.  It has been an amazing story of Kingdom purpose and God’s faithfulness.  From the beginning, the church has been a display of God’s plan and power.

I am humbled to be able to now be the pastor at this church.  What a blessing this church has been to my family and I.

I love spending my time with my beautiful wife, Brandi.  Together, we have 3 wonderful children, Isaiah, Arin, and Levi.  We make one happy and awesome family.  I have a passion to be an excellent husband to my wife and a good father to my children.

I have been in the Kansas City area since September, 2001.  I come from west Texas.  I love my cowboy boots and love my Texas roots.  :-)

A little about me, I have passion and love for people.  I strongly dislike seeing the devil mess with people.  This is why I am so passionate for deliverance ministry.  I was bound most of my life.  Once Jesus set me free, I made a commitment to always utilize everything which has been made available to us on the cross through the sacrifice and death of Christ, our Savior.

I have a few prophetic bones in me which get stirred up every once in a while.  I have a drive to press into God for healing and miracles.  Part of that is because people need that from Jesus and the other part of it because God is glorified in this.  Mainly, this is what the Kingdom life is all about!

Someday when I “grow up,” I want to be a spiritual father.  The most difficult part of this, is that the more I press into God and the longer I serve Him, the less I know and the weaker I grow.  What a Kingdom we serve!

My approach to ministry is simple; I’m just a tall dude, who loves to encourage people.  Love people and serve to build them up.  One of the coolest aspects of this church, is that we are called from the beginning, to be an equipping center.  This means we are here to produce, believers, ministers, pastors, leaders, servants, and loving, friendly people who impact the region.

I invite you visit the church and enjoy the presence of God in our services.

Our Sunday’s are pretty much come, love on God with us, and be built up with teaching and preaching.  Our Wednesday nights have more  of a training and equipping slant to them.  If you come on a Wednesday night, you’ll hear some explanation of God’s Word, some prayer for healing for the sick, and probably some prophesying by other believers in the service.  You are welcomed to visit!

Something exciting we have for the region as well: We have a School of the Pastor, which we started in late 2008.  There are over 30 students who endeavor to be raised up in pastoral ministry.  We also have deliverance teams in our church, equipping with hands on training to walk people through inner healing and liberation.  We have have a strong prophetic team with those believers who have a prophetic grace and call on their life who participate in ministering to others in the body and in the region.  In 2009, we had Prophecy rooms where the team ministered once a month.  People from the region were on a scheduled list to receive ministry.  It was out of this world!

I am excited to seek God for all that He has planned for this house.  I know I love my flock, but I pastor the most loving bunch of people on this earth.  Don’t miss out!

- Cesar
