ROCK UNIVERSITY: CLASSES FOR MARCH/APRIL - Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
THE CROSS: The cross was the central point of which an event occurred where history was changed, and a new age emerged upon the earth. The depth of significance, and the prophectic implications of what took place on the cross are the very key parts of our Christian life and relationship with Christ. Esther: Its Tough Being a Woman: Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner. Taught by: Susan Bedsaul - Class will be in the Adult S.S. room. This class will go for a few more weeks.
Rock Foundations I/Doorway: This class teaches on what we believe as a church. The book for this class costs $10.00. At the end of this class you can become a member of Church on the Rock. Taught by: Royce Wilson

FISHERS OF MEN - MUZZLELOADERS: Leaders Roger & Darrin Schroeder - We will be having our first meeting of the year on Saturday, March 28, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This meeting will be a planning meeting. We will be having a chili dinner, a movie featuring Perry Stone's discussion on end time events. We will be taking up an offering to help cover the insurance costs of shooting at the Schroeder residence.
MARRIAGE SEMINAR: We will be bringing in the Eureka Marriage Seminar with Dick & Donna Sorenson on April 24 & 25. The cost per couple will be $60. We will start on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. with a catered meal from Jack Stack BBQ. Seminar with be from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. First session on Saturday will be from 9:00 to Noon with a break for lunch (on your own). The second session will be at 2 to 5:00 p.m. Rekindle romantic love and become irresistible to your mate! Registration deposit of $25 MUST be in by March 29; balance due by the 24th of April. SHEPHERD'S STAFF FOOD PANTRY: To include all churches of the Ministerial Alliance in the operation of the Shepherd's Staff Food Pantry, there will be a schedule for each church to be responsible for the operation of of the pantry for a Friday of the month. COTR's Friday will be March 20. We are in need of a minimum of 4 volunteers to work from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. There are 3 different areas of needing help: front desk, prayer table & the food area. They will show you what to do in the area you choose to work. Please sign-up at the information desk and if you have questions please talk with Peggy Gary.
WOW's - Women of Wisdom (Ladies 50 and up) Leader: Jil DurbinLadies we meet every month on the second Saturday of the month in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 a.m. Fellowship in prayer, fun and games. Bring a covered dish for lunch. Our next Saturday meeting is March 14, 2009.
ROCKERCISE: What is that? This is an exercise class for ladies, that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. We do about 60 min of low impact areobics. Please enter the building through the back doors (daycare). We are meeting in the Fellowship Hall. You will need a mat and a toning band. MANNA NETWORK:
Calling all cooks. We need people who like to cook and want to bless others through this wonderful ministry. You will provide a meal and a dessert. Please sign-up @ the info desk. If you have been a part of the Manna Network and want to continue serving, please sign-up.The Women’s Ministry will bring meals for 3 days to those who have had a baby, a family member who is seriously ill, hospitalized, or recovering from surgery. You must call the church office and let us know so the
meals can be delivered.
BUDS Girls Group (Beautiful, Understanding, Devoted Sisters) Leaders: Stephanie Armstrong & Hollie Chowning.
This group is for girls in 5th-8th grade. It gives the girls opportunity to get to know one another, build strong relationships and to be an encouragement to one another. We meet one Saturday a month, in the KIDS church room upstairs. We are currently doing a Bible study, Green's Not Your Best Color: Being and Original Girl in a Plastic World.

B.U.D.S. in Christ is having a fundraising garage sale during Harrisonville's City-wide Garage Sale again this year – we made over $400 with our sale last year! If you have good stuff in your attic or basement that you'd like to clear out, we'd love to have it for our fundraiser! We would especially appreciate donations of used furniture (in good condition) and children's outdoor playsets – those were our most popular items last year. We'll begin taking donations for the garage sale in March, so if you'd like to contribute items for the sale, please contact Stephanie Armstrong or Hollie Chowning. Thank you!

STEP STUDIES CLASS: Step Studies class started on Tuesday, January 6, @ 7:00 p.m.This class is based on the beatitudes, stepping out of denial into God's grace, learning discipleship. Contact Marvin or Anne if you have questions.

We are still in need of one teacher for this class during 2nd service. Wouldn’t you like to teach and plant Godly principles in these little lives? Please contact Cindy Payne or one of the Pastors if you are interested in serving in this position.
We also need people that have their children in the nursery to sign-up to be on the nursery schedule.
